Niloufar Ahmadzadeh is a journalist/editor/consultant with work experience in the UK, Peru, Mexico, India, Canada and the Middle East. She was raised in Iran, India and Canada; and has lived and worked in several countries. Her interests and work focus on conflicts regarding Indigenous Peoples, investigating extractive industries, human rights violations, ethics on reporting conflicts, media concentration, and gender-based violence. She was Managing Editor on publications dealing with memory & political violence in Peru and researcher for an investigative book in Mexico on the MS-13 gang. Prior to her work in journalism, she studied political anthropology. She has presented at numerous conferences & is currently working on a number of projects in Mexico, India, & Peru.
